"The view in Plate IX. is taken from the side aile of this transept, looking north west, and shows a fine monument in the foreground, a clustered column with its incumbent arch cut into numerous mouldings, one of the large clustered piers under the tower, the southern screen, and a view into the nave, and its south aile, &c.
