Part of MS Gen 1595 |
| Content: | Lanark, book 2. Draft entitled chapter 13, a new channel. This however appears to be an early draft of chapter 21, book 2, The Tree. The basic story line is similar but the narrative does differ significantly. Throughout the draft there are several changes made to the text and also drawings. On the front cover of the book is an excellent sketch, probably of the Elite café featured in Lanark with the characters seated round a table. |
