On the verso of the first fly-leaf Dr. Wm. Hunter has written (in red): Ibn Baitar, and on the recto: Vid: Bibliothecę Arabica-His- | panę Vol. I. pg. 275 &c.
On the verso of the first folio is this autograph: Liber I. Letherland M.D. Londin. | 1752.
Dr. Letherland has inserted at intervals loose slips of paper inscribed with the successive letters of the Arabic alphabet, preceded by the word: Litera.

Binding: Millboards, covered crimson morocco, gilt tooled, borders and central floral devices on sides and flap, back repaired, front board decayed
