On the first recto (blank) in an XVIII. Cent. hand: N.B. [obliterated] History of the Sultans | of Mesopotamia in Arabic. | [from 'of' to 'Arabic' obliterated, and Timur in Arab written above] | Printed since at Leyden by | Golius. On the opposite page is the name of a former owner, the fakir 'Isa, and the date, middle of Dhu'l Hijjah 1013 (23rd April, 1605).

Paper, 10 3/8 x 7 1/8, ff. 150, well written in single cols. of 21 lines, each 7 x 4 1/8, rubrics, rubricated letters, etc., few marginalia. (923 A.H., 1517 A.D.)
Binding: Millboards, covered black morocco, blind-tooled circular patterns stamped on the centre of both boards and flap, with gilt-tooled pin-head points
