Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr, al Razi's 'Selection', being an epitome of the Lexicon of Al Jauhari, called the Sahah.
Remarks: Al Razi finished writing this work in the year 760 A.H. (1359 A.D.).
Jauhari died in the year 1003 A.D.
Scrawled over the first two verses is (in Arabic): property of the Shaikh Sulaiman Effendi, preacher in the great mosque in the castle of Badun (Buda). Cf. T.7.4 and T.7.9.
On a folded sheet of paper, inserted loose at the beginning, in an XVIII. Cent. hand: Epitome celeberrimi Lexici Assahâh.
