On the fly-leaf of this volume is the following title: "Plans & Specification of Museum". 4to.
There are 16 plates and 36 pp. of MS. written in a neat, clerkly hand. Then two or three pp. at the end of the volume having on them pencil jottings and drawings. The "Museum" is, of course, the Hunterian Museum in the University of Glasgow. A special building was erected in the grounds of the University to contain William Hunter's collection, the foundation-stone of which was laid on 1st August, 1804. The architect was William Stark
