These 'observations' extend to line 36 on the verso of 4, 5.

Between 16, 8. and 17, 1. are inserted (loose) two scraps of paper, on one of which are XVII. Cent. prescriptions, and also a small piece of lawn.
Edward Reynolds (1599-1676) was Bishop of Norwich. His works, including the treatise "The Sinfulness of Sin", were published in London 1658, in fol.

Binding: Original, vellum covers, vellum backstraps, originally tied with vellum tags. Late Cent. XVII.
