Notes: Information received by email, 17 November 2009, from Dr Evanghelos Hekimoglou:
Lembet was a farm about 5 km to the north of Thessaloniki. From 1915 it was a camp for the Allied troops in WWI and is now a suburb of Thessaloniki.
There is a tumulus in Lembet, where archaeological work was done by the Allied Troops.
Kavalar is a village, about 20 km to the north east of Thessaloniki.
Tumba (meaning tumulus) is a common place name in Greece.
