Remarks: On ii, 2 verso in an XVIII. Cent. hand: S. Emtinck (?).
The first quire replaces a lost original which contained the first 557 lines of Bk. I.
On 2, 1 recto in an XVIII. Cent. hand: Bourguet [?Louis Bourguet (1678-1742), French archaeologist, etc.]
Bk. VIII., line 41, is completed (in a later hand): profugis noua moenia teucris.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Vellum, 8 1/8 x 6, ff. 181, well written in an Italian hand, in single cols. of 27-28 lines, each 6 x 3-3 3/4, margined and ruled with brown crayon, no signatures (probably cropped), catchwords, foliation (contemporary), partial (cropped), illuminated initials, rubrics and rubricated paragraph marks, the first letters of each line touched with vermilion, few marginalia (some in Greek), stained in places, some margins torn and repaired, one cut off (11, 7.), first and last quires XVIII. Cent. replacements, much cropped. Early Cent. XV.
Binding: As in V.5.15, the same arms, etc., red silk ribbon marker. Cent. XVIII.
