On i, 3 recto in pencil, in a late XVIII. Cent. hand: Florence.
The floreated borders on 2, 1 recto are similar to those in V.5.11.
On 2, 1 recto a shield (azure) bears what appears to be a capital A (or), but the whole seems to have been inked over. The shield is surrounded by two circles of gold, between which is a laurel wreath, and the spaces between the shield and the inner circle are of deep crimson with gold tracery.
On 9, 8 recto in a XV.-XVI. Cent. hand: Nicholo.
On 9, 8 verso under some indecipherable scribbling, including 'Cicero' in Hebrew characters, in a XVI. Cent. hand: Amicitia dicitur ab amore.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Vellum, 8 x 5 5/8, ff. 72, well written (?in a Florentine hand), in single cols. of 25 lines, each 5 x 3, catchwords, vertical, no signatures, probably cropped, no foliation, first page partly floreated, gilt illuminated initials, blue initials, rubrics, paragraph marks blue, few marginalia, ruled and margined in faded ink (red?), vellum somewhat defective in places, corner of last folio torn off, cropped, fol. sec. xime. Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered grained Russia, brown (faded from crimson?), gilt-tooled inner margins and edges (oblique milling), sides and richly panelled back (binding identical with that of V.5.11), saffron edges, title (gilt) on black morocco shield: CICERO | DE | SENETUT. Cent. XVIII.
