This volume appears to have been designed as a note-book for comments on the succesive Books of the New Testament, the first 11 quires being marked in the top right corner of each recto 'Matth I', 'Matth II', etc.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Paper, 8 3/8 x 6 7/8 (some few quires 8 x 6), ff. 304, originally ff. 310, with few exceptions, in one (T.S. Bayer's) hand, in double cols. of about 36 lines, each about 7 x 3, margins folded, not ruled, no signatures or catchwords, columns numbered (same hand). Early Cent. XVIII.
Binding: Original, millboards, half-bound calf, marbled-paper sides, blind-tooled corners, sides, and sham-panelled back. Early Cent. XVIII.
