Vellum (partly palimpsest), 8 x 5 3/4, ff. 143, written in two (north) Italian hands (the first, Bk. I., line 1-Bk. V., line 708, the second, Bk. V., line 709-Bk. X., line 546), in single cols. of 29 lines, each 6 3/8 x 3, no signatures (cropped), catchwords, no foliation, margined and ruled with brown crayon, decorated initials, blue with red ornament and gestures, red with violet ornament and gestures, few marginalia, vellum defective and sewn, in good preservation, fol. sec. Quis deus. Early Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered spattered calf, gilt-tooled sides (lines) and richly panelled back. Late Cent. XVII.
