On 1, 1 recto bottom margin, within a laurel wreath tied, top sides and bottom; with flowing red-tasselled cords, is a shield (rounded top, kite shape) (or) a fesse (azure) bearing three fleurs-de-lis (or).

Vellum, 8 7/8 x 6 3/8, ff. 96, well written in (?)Roman hand, in single cols. of 26 lines, each 5 7/8 x 3 3/4, margined and ruled with bodkin, no signatures, catchwords, foliation, in pencil (XVIII. Cent.), heraldic blazon on first page (see Remarks in Description), rubrics (three), spaces left for illuminated initials (three), cropped, marginalia (Italian XVIII. Cent.), vellum defective in places, worm-holed (beginning and end), clean, fol. sec. che fu. Cent. XV.-XVI.
Binding: Original, limp vellum, title, modern (ink): LIONARDO | DAREZO | Del | PRIMO | BELLO | PUNICO. Cent. XV.-XVI.
