Paper, 11 x 8, ff. 186, originally ff. 190, well written in single cols. of about 35 lines [five seven-lined stanzas], each about 7 x 3, signatures, catchwords, no foliation, rare marginal ruling (brown crayon), no lines, rubrics, initials touched with vermilion, small letters in spaces left for illuminations, well preserved, not much cropped, no marginalia, fol. sec. Of evill. Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered spattered calf, gilt-tooled edges (zig-zag), sides (lines) and panelled back, vellum slips in the middle of quires, title (ink) on paper label: HARDYNG. Late Cent. XVII.
