Vellum, 13½ x 9 3/8, ff. 66, originally ff. 68, well written in an Italian hand (?Florentine), in double cols. of 60 lines, each 10 x 2 5/8, no signatures visible, catchwords, foliation, modern, partial, gilt illuminated initials (two on the first page), blue initials with red gestures and vice versā, rubrics, running titles in red and blue, initials of sentences touched with vermilion, ruled and margined with brown crayon, few marginalia, many erased, much damaged by damp, fol. sec. soluisset. Cent. XIV.
Binding: Millboards, covered panelled (spattered) calf, blind-tooled sides, gilt-tooled edges and panelled back, green silk ribbon bookmark, title (gilt) on crimson morocco shield: EGES | DE | EXCI | HIER. Late Cent. XVII.
