On ii, 2 verso is pasted a printed Sale Catalogue slip: An ancient MS. of the Acts of the Apostles and of the Revelation on | vellum, beautifully wrote with the initials painted and vignettes. It is well preserved, gilt on the leaves and bound in red Turkey. Small 8vo. | This MS has the prologues of St Jerome prefix'd to the books, and | some readings in the margin, probably about 250 years old.
On 1, 1 recto at the top, . Ihs . in red. The outer margin is floreated. At the bottom is a shield over a tasselled know, one loop (dexter) round the letter V (azure), the other (sinister) round a similar ornamental letter I (or).
The shield bears (argent) a chevron (gules) with three bunches of black grapes (?mulberries) (sable) two above, one below.
The text is not that of the Vulgate edition.

Vellum, 6 x 4¼, ff. 111, originally ff. 112, well written in a French (or Flemish) hand, in single cols. of 20 lines, each 3 7/8 x 2½, ruled and margined with red, signatures (mostly cropped), catchwords, no foliation, illuminated margins (1, 1 recto and 11, 1 recto), illuminated initials, rubrics and rubricated running titles, initials touched with gamboge, few marginalia, mostly contemporary corrections, much cropped, otherwise well preserved and clean, fol. sec. in multis. Late Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered crimson morocco ["red Turkey"] no tooling, gilt edges, title (gilt) on black morocco shield: ACTUS | APLORUM | M.S. Late Cent. XVII.
