Paper, 7 3/4 x 5˝, ff. 70, well written in Italy (?Venice), in two hands, in single cols. of 21 lines, each about 6˝ x 3˝, no original signatures (XVIII. Cent. in lead pencil) or catchwords, foliation, modern, rubrics, personae, rubricated initials, etc., red ink, much faded, margins folded, not ruled, clean, well preserved, practically no marginalia, slightly worm-holed in the lower margins of the Ajax, much cropped, fol. sec. [Greek characters]. Cent. XVI.
Binding: Millboards, covered marbled calf, gilt-tooled side, inner margins, sides and panelled back, cinnamon edges, title (gilt) on black morocco shield: SOPHOCL | MS. Cent. XVIII.
