On 4, 8 recto line 6, in a XVII. Cent. hand: Demostenis Oratio ad Alexandrum.
Leonardo Giustiniani (1388-1446), an Italian Hellenist and poet and procurator of S. Mark's, delivered this oration in the church of S. Maria dei Celi, Venice, on the 8th of May, 1418.

Vellum, 8 3/8 x 5 7/8, ff. 36, well written in a similar (?Florentine) hand to U.6.18, in single cols. of 27 lines, each 6 x 4, ruled and margined with bodkin, as in U.6.18, no signatures or catchwords (probably cropped off), foliation, modern (ff. 1-33), no illuminations (initial spaces left), few marginalia, cropped, clean, well preserved, fol. sec. uiro Petro Zeno. Cent. XV. (1453).
Binding: Identical with that of U.6.18, pasteboards, covered vellum with vellum back straps, similar green silk ribbon book-marker, title (gilt), on crimson morocco shield: JUSTIN. | ORATION. | ETC. | COD. MEM. | 1453. Cent. XVII.
