Paper, Oriental, sized and partially burnished, 8˝ x 6˝, ff. 64, originally ff. 72, exquisitely written in single cols. of 17 lines, each 5 3/4 x 4, margined with bodkin, not ruled, signatures, alphabetical, first rectos and last versos only, no catchwords or foliation, rubrics and rubricated headpieces, rubricated initials beginning of each work, marginalia, cropped, in good condition, fol. sec. [Greek characters]. Cent. XV.-XVI.
Binding: Millboards, covered veau fauve, gilt-tooled sides, edges, and inside margins, richly panelled back, saffron edges, green silk ribbon marker, title (gilt), on dark green morocco shield: HESIODU | MS. Cent. XVIII.
