On pp. '140', '149', '171', and '173' smeared illegible writing occurs.
pp. '207', '208' are mutilated, a piece having been cut out.
p. '238' has a note in a XVII. Cent. hand (French?): Deest hic folium.
On the last folio (p. 266) in an uneducated XVIII. Cent. hand: N. 12, a Latin poem.
On the same page appear to be two early XV. Cent. names almost obliterated: (?) sacer noster... giraldus (?) de mombosum dominic (?) de menis (?)

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Vellum, 8 3/4 x 5 5/8, ff. 114, originally ff. 138, probably written in Germany, evenly in one small hand, in single cols. of 44, 45 lines, each 7 x 2, no catchwords (probably cropped), signatures (two remaining, others probably cropped), pagination faulty (late XVII. Cent., pp. 23-266), blue and red illuminated initials with gestures (one cut out: p. 170), the first letter of each line spaced from the line, rubrics (beginnings of books), numerous marginalia and interlinear annotations, badly used, margins cut, mutilated and torn, marginal drawing (p. 110), vellum holed and defective, writing in many places illegible, lower margins damaged by damp. Cent. XII.-XIII.
Binding: Millboards, covered spattered calf, blind-tooled (lines), panelled back, much cropped (top and bottom) by the binder, shield replaced by a modern title (ink) on a slip of buff paper: OVID. Late Cent. XVII.
