This work appears to be the same as that in the Brit. Mus. Cat. [G. 9792]: "Here begynneth the boke of Cato both in Latyn and Englysche" [in verse], Black Letter, W. Coplande, London, 1558, 8.
Between ii, 1. and 2. is a letter referring to this MS. from Professor Max. Th. W. Forster of Bonn (presumably to Dr. Young) dated Aug. 12th, 1897.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Vellum, 10 x 7, ff. 26, probably originally ff. 32, Latin text in larger characters followed by seven-lined stanzas of English in smaller writing, in single cols. of about 31 lines, each 7 x 4, ruled and margined with brown crayon, signatures (+, a, b, c), catchwords and pagination (late XVII. Cent.) (pp. 1-52), blue and red illuminated initials with red gestures, small blue and red initials (alternately), no marginalia, a few stains, otherwise well preserved, fol. sec. Loke thy. Late Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered brown spattered calf, tooled and tilted like U.4.16, title: MS. ON | MORALITY, another (vertical) title (gilt) on crimson morocco shield has been recently put on the back: CATO. Late Cent. XVII.
