Paper, 9 7/8 x 7 5/8, ff. 308, somewhat hurriedly written (in the same hand as in U.4.13, 14, 15) in single cols. of about 24 lines, each 8 x 6, margined with red, not ruled, no catchwords, signatures, or pagination, few marginalia, lower margins of first four quires wormholed, clean and well preserved. Early Cent. XVIII.
Binding: Original, millboards, covered rough brown calf, blind-tooled sides, edges and panelled back, four cornflowers (?) at the corners of the sides, rough edges, title (gilt) on crimson morocco shield: ROT: ROMAE & | FRANC: PART. I. Cent. XVIII.
