Paper, 11¼ x 8¼, ff. 208, written in a beautiful Florentine hand, in single cols. of 36 lines, each 8¼ x 4, margined with brown crayon, not ruled, signatures (XVIII. Cent. on the outer vellum slip of each quire), foliation (modern, in pencil), ornamental red and blue initials, rubrics, initials touched with gamboge, very few marginalia, badly cropped, but well repaired and otherwise well preserved, vellum slips (inner and outer) strengthen each quire. The XVIII. Cent. binder misplaced the quires (see Description) fol. sec. Mentre Chio. Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered faded crimson grained Russia, gilt-tooled (lines) sides, edges and inside margins, saffron edges, title (gilt): DANTE | ALLIGHIERI. | M.S. Cent. XVIII.
