Vellum, 12 3/4 x 8, ff. 199, originally ff. 218, well written in one hand (except the last two folios), in single cols. of 42 lines (last two folios 35, 36 lines), each 9 x 6, ruled with bodkin, margined with red ink (outer side) and bodkin (inner side), signatures (numerical), catchwords, no foliation, illuminated initials with gestures, rubrics, and authorities in red, paragraph marks blue and red, much cropped, marginalia, fol. sec. paragraph marks De bauarria. Cent. XIV.
Binding: Millboards, covered rough calf, blind-tooled inside margins, edges and sides, red edges, title (gilt) on red morocco shield: POLY | CHRON | -ICON. Cent. XVI.-XVII.
