Begins (1, 1 [f. 1] recto lines 1-4): Radices | Acetosę seu oxalides | common sorrel . radix. fibrosa, lutea Saporis ad- | stringentis.
Ends (30, 2 [f. 118] verso line 35): Analysis: chymica. Sulphere et sale acri tenui abundat.
Remarks: The margins are half the width of the page and mostly filled with (contemporary) receipts, etc.
Between 19, 1 verso and 2 recto (originally pinned, now pasted) a smaller sheet with ten lines of notes on its verso.
Between 29, 2 verso and 3 recto is pinned a slip of letter paper with notes in the same contemporary hand.

Paper, 8 3/8 x 6½, ff. 118, originally ff. 120, in single cols. of about 40 lines, each 7¼-7½ x 3 3/4-3¼, margins folded, not ruled, no catchwords or foliation, signatures (on top right corners of first rectos), numerous marginalia. Cent. XVII.
Binding: Original, limp cardboard, covered blue paper (sides), white paper (back), title MS. Cent. XVII.
