The tops of ff. 1 and 73 have interlaced designs in blue and red, that on f. 1 being larger and more elaborate, and surmounted by three starry knots, two in blue ink and one (central) gilt.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Paper (Oriental, sized), 8 x 4 1/8, ff. 111, originally ff. 114, beautifully written in single cols. of 25 lines, each 5 5/8 x 2 1/8, ruled and margined with bodkin, signatures (alphabetical, on the last versos of quires), catchwords, no foliation, rubrics, rubricated capitals, few marginalia, clean, well preserved, fol. sec. [Greek characters]. Late Cent. XV.
Binding: Original (?), beech boards, covered citron morocco, elaborately blind-tooled, with side panels, and panelled back, grooved edges, vellum central slips, remains of three crimson silk straps and clasps, gilt edges goffered, back loose, braid at ends, title (in ink) on a strip of paper (retouched with red): Phallaridis Eple Gręce. Late Cent. XV.
