Vellum, 12 1/8 x 9, ff. 73, written in Italy(?), in double cols. of 33 lines, each 8 x 2 3/4, ruled and margined with plummet, catchwords, no signatures or foliation, no illumination, but spaces left for the purpose, marginalia, incipits and explicits of causae and of argumenta given in the lower margin in the same hand, other marginalia contemporary, fol. sec. riebatur herede. Late Cent. XIV.
Binding: Dr. William Hunter's, millboards, covered brown (faded crimson), grained Russia, gilt-tooled lines, panelled back, Dr. Hunter's crest (a Hunter's Horn) in the lowest panel, title (gilt) on green morocco shield, vertical: QUINTILIANI | CAUSAE XIX. | M.S. Cf. binding of T.2.14. Cent. XVIII.
