Begins (fol. 1 recto lines 1-4, in gold letters on a magenta panel in the middle of a floreated page): NOS PETRVS | LANDO DEI | GRATIA DVX | VENETIARVM ET | CAETERA | C [gilt] OMMITIMVS | tibi Nobili viro PAVLO Delphino | Dilecto ciui et fideli Nostro quod in Bona Gratia vadas et sis Comes Noster PAGI.
Ends (fol. 24 verso lines 1-3): essendo scrito. Il salario de vno Anno | Datum In Nostro Ducali Palatio Die XXX | Augusti. M.D.xliij:-
The first page has four marginal vignettes; (at the top) the lion of St. Mark, gilt body and purple wings, coming on shore with a crimson volume in his right paw, (at the bottom) Delfino's arms (azure), three dolphins (or), (left) Madonna and Child, (right) St. Paul, with sword and book.
On fol. 24 verso under the date, is the signature (and monogram): Hieronymus Murianus | Secretarius. The day of the month was filled in by him. In a late hand, follow certain entries in Italian, signed Benette Spinelli.
The Latin is dropped for Italian on fol. 19 recto and so continues to the end.

Frequent references occur to meetings and discussions of the "Consilium Rogatorum" (from 1410 to 1534).

Vellum, 9 x 6, ff. 24, well written in regular Italian hand, in single cols. of 25 lines, 6 x 4 3/8, ruled and margined with red ink (faded), foliation modern, no catchwords or signatures, initials omitted. Cent. XVI. (1543).
Binding: Original, crimson morocco, blind and gilt tooled, name on front board gilt: PAVLI | DELPHI | MI; date on back board, MD | XLIII. Originally fastened with four pairs of silk cord ties; portions of two book marks of same material survive. Cent. XVI.
