On f. 31 verso immediately after the text, follow (in darker ink), six lines in XVI. Cent. hand:

Damnione Wilhelmo et volperto
Militauj scripsi haec pridie kalendas Marcias

The recto and verso of f. 32 are covered with grammatical notes in Latin and German; name of owner erased on recto of first folio.
On ii, 4 recto in red ink, in XVIII. Cent. hand: folium 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 sunt alieno loco posita. [This note does not apply to text.]
The same hand probably numbered the verses, by tens, in the left hand margins.
The notes (XIV. Cent.) on folio 32 begin: Acentus est modulatio uocis in pronunciatione sillabe et dicitur acentus quasi ad cantum | eo quod una sillaba adcantatur alteri. Modulationes autem uocum sunt tres: quando | a graui incipimus et in acutum tendimus et tertium revertimus in grauem | appellamus circum flexum accentum. Quando a graui incipimus et in graui manemus | appellamus grauem. Notandum uero est quod quamuis una et quaeque sillaba habeat suum accentum | latini tamen . non seruauerunt accentum nisi in penultima et in antepenultima.

Johannisberg monastery was near Fulda, and had an Abbot Volpertus, contemporary with Luther. The date in the last line on f. 31 verso (1001) is evidently incomplete, a line or two following having been cropped.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Vellum, 9 5/8 x 5 1/8, ff. 32, written in Germany, in single cols. of 36 lines, 8 x 3, ruled brown crayon, foliation (XVIII. Century), no catchwords or signatures visible, initials of lines on 2. 1 recto and 8 verso touched with vermillion, marginalia much cropped, coarse vellum, defective in places, stained and worn, fol. sec. Illic. Cent. XIII.
Binding: Pasteboards, covered vellum, blind-tooled lines, vellum back straps, vellum ties (gone), boards and fly-leaves worm eaten, title (ink): Georgica Virgilii Manuscripti (?same hand as in title, f. 1). Cent. XVI.
