Remarks: On a slip of paper attached to the first free fly-leaf, in an early XVIII. Cent. hand: A Treatise on Prayer - particularly that | which is directed to Mohammed. | it is in Arabic - but wrote in the African | character with which I am quite unacquainted.
The last two fly-leaves (at the front) are covered with Arabic writing, containing an invocation.

Physical Description: Bound volume.
Paper, 7 x 5 7/8, ff. 84, beautifully written in Maghribi, in single cols. of 13 lines, each 5 x 3 3/4, margined red (two lines), illuminated headpieces, rubrics, red and green letters, two full-page illuminations in the second quire, two place-finding tabs, few marginalia.
Binding: Millboards, covered crimson morocco, stamped with central floral device and chain pattern border on both boards and flap
