Remarks: The Persian of 1 was copied by Al Salibi, head-dragoman for the king of France in Ispahan, 12 June, 1675, and translated at Paris, 10th May, 1703. It was collated by Salibi in November, 1691. Cf. U.3.13.
At the top of p. 1, 'ex libris Pétis de Lacroix.' There is the beginning of a translation of the 'Kitabu'l Ajwibah', but it does not go beyond the first page. A translation of the whole appeared in the Journal of the Royal Asiatic Society for Oct. 1901.
