Remarks: On 1, 1 recto top margin, in XVII. Cent. hand: Johannes ffroissard vel ffrossard natus aut floruit. Anno. 1391.

From a comparison with the editions of G. Eustace (Paris, n.d.) and J.A. Buchon (Paris, 1824), T.1.10 wants about half a col. at the end. There is no Hunterian Museum bookplate on this volume. It has been removed.

Vellum, 14 x 11, ff. 231, originally ff. 232, double cols. of 48 lines, each 10 3/4 x 3, ruled and margined with ink, signatures, later, no catchwords or foliation. No illuminations (spaces left), rubrics, cropped, no marginalia, worm-holed beginning and end, otherwise clean and well-preserved, fol. sec. et destauit. Early Cent. XV.
Binding: Millboards, covered vellum, gilt-tooled (lines) on sides and back, vellum back straps; title (ink), modern: FROISSART. Cent. XVII.
