Allan and Ferguson's Views in Glasgow

Woodside Crescent

Woodside Crescent in the Charing Cross area of the city was designed by Edinburgh's George Smith (1793-1877). Construction of the houses commenced in 1831 and by the 1840s individual properties with grounds were valued at 2500 to 3500. The Crescent, like most of the terraces in the area, is occupied by offices although some buildings are reverting to domestic use.
