A collection of over 400 Socialist pamphlets, broadsheets, election manifestoes and posters from the 1930s to the 1950s. The emphasis is on publications of the Independent Labour Party, on the writings of the anarchist Guy Aldred, and on publications dealing with post-War recovery plans for Glasgow. Presented in 1959 by a number of prominent Glasgow Socialists: Maurice Broady, Sir Patrick Dollan, Baillie David Gibson and Henry J. Crone.
