| The late Rikki Fulton OBE,
(1924-2004) actor
and comedian, was born on 15 April 1924 in Glasgow. In 1945 he was invalided out
of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, where he was Sub-Lt. and began a career as
a broadcaster with the BBC. Perhaps his most renowned characters was his 'Josie' to Jack Milroy's 'Francie' in the double act 'Francie & Josie'. Apart from his partnership with Milroy, Fulton made numerous pantomimes and television appearances throughout his career. Probably best known as the Rev. I.M. Jolly in his popular Hogmanay TV show, 'Scotch and Rye'. He appeared in various films including "Gorky Park" and "Local Hero". In 1981 Rikki starred in the Scottish Theatre Company's production of 'Let Wives Tak tent'. He was Scottish TV Personality of the year in 1963 and 1979 and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award, Bafta Scotland, in 1993. This collection includes photographs, press cuttings and
